이번에 토익 스피킹 시험 준비하면서 내가 외우려고 적어놨던 노트를 다시 정리 해 보았다. 한국말로 언뜻 보기엔 쉬운데 영어로는 생각안나는 것들이 꽤나되서, 영어공부는 꾸준히 계속 하는 수밖에 없겠구나 하는 좌절감이 든다. 그나저나 2년마다 새로 시험 쳐야되는 이놈의 토익시험비는 정말 시간/비용면에서 국가적인 낭비인듯 휴~.

단/복수 주의해야할 단어들

many peoples are (O) 많은 민족들이

many people are (O) 많은 사람들이

말하기 할때 헷갈리기 쉬운 단/복수

복수형 단어가 따로 존재하는 단어들의 경우 글로 쓸때는 잘 틀리지 않지만 말할때는 생각없이 s를 붙여서 말하게되는 경향이 있으니 주의할 것.

two mans are … (X)

two men are … (O)

two womans … (X)

two women … (O)

childrens are (X)

children are (O)

계속 입에 익을 때까지 반복해서 말하다보면 틀리지 않게 됨.

사진 묘사 자주 쓰이는 표현

묘사 문제 답변 요령: 전체 설명 -> 사람/사물의 공통점, 차이점 묘사 -> 기타 세부 묘사

상태를 묘사할때 동작 + 위치를 같이 표현해줄것
